Imatges de les excursions de l&#8217;Escola d&#8217;Arquitectura de Barcelona 1910-1923<\/i>, by Carmen Rodr\u00edguez Pedret."},"content":{"rendered":"<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Fototert\u00falia &quot;La fotografia en l&#039;aprenentatge de l&#039;arquitectura&quot; a c\u00e0rrec de Carmen Rodriguez Pedret\" width=\"1080\" height=\"608\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/BOUBXW3Ccdo?feature=oembed\"  allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen title=\"Fototert\u00falia \"La fotografia en l'aprenentatge de l'arquitectura\" a c\u00e0rrec de Carmen Rodriguez Pedret\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>After Neus Vilaplana&#8217;s presentation, Carmen Rodr\u00edguez Pedret, doctor in theory and history of architecture, and member of the Gaud\u00ed chair at the ETSAB, based on the collections of the Archive of the Escola T\u00e9cnica Superior d&#8217;Arquitectura de Barcelona and the C\u00e1tedra Gaud\u00ed explains how photography was a fundamental tool in the training of architects, first through the images of monuments that the school bought from professional studios, such as that of Jean Laurent, and later Esplugas or Adolf Mas, and later in the trips and excursions organized by the school, in which the future architects found in photography an indispensable record for heritage registration and for the analysis of buildings, and even for the development of restoration projects.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_18344\" style=\"width: 394px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-18344\" class=\"wp-image-18345\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fotoconnexio.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/1657706030776-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"384\" height=\"512\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-18344\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Foto: Joan Pifarr\u00e9<\/p><\/div>\n<p>The photographs were used by the students to make drawings and elevations of the monuments, and project future restorations.
