Tras la presentaci\u00f3n a cargo de Mar\u00eda de los Santos Garc\u00eda Felguera, St\u00e9phany present\u00f3 la figura de Manuel Castellano, y sobre todo de la colecci\u00f3n conservada en la Biblioteca Nacional de Espa\u00f1a, que contiene 24 \u00e1lbumes de fotograf\u00edas (22.000 fotograf\u00edas, retratos principalmente), pero tambi\u00e9n dibujos, grabados, aut\u00f3grafos, manuscritos &#8230;<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Fototertulia 2021-04-12  Coleccion Castellano a cargo de Stephany Onfray\" width=\"1080\" height=\"608\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Si comparamos la magnitud de la Colecci\u00f3n Castellano con los pocos estudios que se le han dedicado, quiz\u00e1s resulta ser una de las colecciones menos aprovechadas de Espa\u00f1a.<\/p>\n<p>La informaci\u00f3n en torno a sus condiciones de formaci\u00f3n y sobre su creador resulta todav\u00eda muy escasa aunque, poco a poco, van apareciendo nuevos planteamientos.<\/p>\n<p>La falta de documentaci\u00f3n y la dimensi\u00f3n de la colecci\u00f3n complican su comprensi\u00f3n global y, sobre todo, impiden determinar los motivos que empujaron el pintor madrile\u00f1o Manuel Castellano (1826 -1880) a juntar miles de fotograf\u00edas, cartas y poemas, dibujos o manuscritos teatrales entre 1845 y 1880.<\/p>\n<p>Para tratar de acercarse a la Colecci\u00f3n Castellano, en primer lugar St\u00e9phany present\u00f3 su conjunto fotogr\u00e1fico, para luego destacar algunos aspectos relacionados con las condiciones de reuni\u00f3n de \u00e9ste, antes de su entrada en la Biblioteca Nacional de Espa\u00f1a en 1872.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_10321\" style=\"width: 310px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a subray\u00f3 la riqueza de la colecci\u00f3n, con el fin de comprender como el conjunto de fuentes documentales y gr\u00e1ficas conservado puede aportarnos informaci\u00f3n clave sobre los \u00e1lbumes fotogr\u00e1ficos, y en particular sobre los veintid\u00f3s dos tomos de retratos.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a
