Presentation of the book “BARCELONA DESAPAREGUDA DE GIACOMO ALESSANDRO II” and the round table on the growing diffusion of old images of Barcelona on social networks, by Victor Oliva and Enric Comas, co-authors of the book, with the participation of Enric H March, Miquel Barcelonauta and Ricard Marco, as moderator of the event.

Presentation of the book Barcelona disappeared by Giacomo Alessandro II, edited by Jorge Álvarez, Enric Comas and Víctor Oliva, a social and architectural vision of Barcelona from
old photographs of the city, published by the Editorial Services of Barcelona City Council in October 2022. The book is the second volume of a collection that aims to pay tribute to Giacomo
Alessandro, an architect born in Sardinia who lived and was in love with Barcelona, a city where he died in 2016. He created the Facebook group Barcelona disappeared in 2012 and its members soon shared old photographs and information related to the history of the city . This group in a few months gained more than 74,000 followers on the network.

The presentation of the book will be followed by a round table to talk about the increasing dissemination of old images of Barcelona on the networks, what is the profile of the people, groups and entities that are dedicated to them, their motivations and other issues related
